The answer is contingent.Because homeschooling and traditional schooling have advantages and disadvantages.Homeschooling has option of learning anything you are interest in.It can make every homeshooling students stimulating.On the contrary,traditoinal schooling dictates students to choose some object they don't like may let students feel bored and dull.On the other way,traditional schooling has many education resources for students like teachers,computer software and classmates that homeshooling may not have.Therefore,the dispute between homeshooling and traditional shooling isn't necessary.It's up to you to choose what kind of learning way.
ReplyDeleteI believe homeschooling is a good idea. First, learning mainly relies on your mind. If you learning something you feel stimulating very much, you will have the ambition to learn it persistently. For example, the Reading1’s Andy chooses physics and geology which he likes to learn. Next, due to elimination “administrivia”, homeschooling will make you do things more efficient. Like R1 says that most homeschoolers complete traditional high school in two to three years. Last but not least, many people have a misconception that homeschooling would lead to social isolation. However, the fact is there is plenty of time for a social life.

ReplyDeleteif i had a child, i won't give him/her a homeschooling as their education.because i think,homeschooling won't effective in him/her life. school doesn't mean they teach you how to compute a math's problem, or even memorize all part of this earth's geography. but school is also teach you how to socialization with other human being. with socialization, you can find that this world is not determinate only by your computer as teacher at home, your assignments and your books. at school, you can practice a drama with your friends, work as teammate to decorate a graduation ceremony, you have a chance to participate school organization, talking about which dress you should wear at prom night. and what if those example of socialization at school disappear because you're now at homeschooling????it looks like you're now at social isolation. you might feel bored, there's no color in your life,especially when you're teenage, and also you don't have any memories of friends at school for sharing when you're already old.and with attending school, your opportunities to meet lot of people is bigger than staying at home and a place where you spend your time everyday. people come to school are from a lot of different places with different cultures and different ways of thinking. and remember, we have to plunge into world and do those 'socialization', but what if you never had 'it' once before? what will you do then? thinking about this kind of education well. you won't ruin your life,will you???

I think homeschooling is a new current and option for education.However, I had had misconception about unschooling in the past years. I thought students who didn’t receive traditional school education and didn’t get along with peers don’t know how to interact with other people,causing social isolation.In fact, they adjust to society very well. They learn to get in touch with eclectic people through homeschooling. And they don’t have to feel tedious about the curriculum school have dictated. For example, if we attended the biology class in traditional school, then we can only see the insect in the picture of the book. On the contrary ,if we are homeschooled ,then we could go outside and see the living insect around your side. Therefore,I think homeschooling is a viable way for learning.
ReplyDeleteI think homeschooling is not such a good idea, because by homeschooling childern lose some opportunity to learn something that must learn from the traditional school. For example, traditional school is like a small society. When homescooling, we give up the chance to fit in the crowd. In the same time, we lose the chance to learn with peers.

I don't think that homeschooling is a good idea because traditional school is a small society,is a place students have the social contact. Although family is the place that help children first time know society,I still think traditional school is better.In school,students can make friends with people from every where and know eclectic group of people.It's can avoid the social isolation which may occur on homeschoolers.I think study in the tranditional school have more options to have more friends.The example in the textbook was just a special case.

I don't think that homeschooling is a good idea .Although they both can learn about expertise ,homeschooling is much isolation from society.I think students in traditional school can make friends with people from every where and know eclectic group of others .I think study in the tranditional school let us have more ideas to face the problem in our future and society!So I still think traditional school is the best !!!

ReplyDeleteI think homeschooling is not appropriate someone who don’t have persistence. Those who think school is boring always have some misconceptions like that I can study myself is not appropriate homeschooling. Being a homeschooler, you don’t have to adjust teachers or classmates and you can avoid some bad influences from classmates so that you can achieve your own ambitions. But homeschooling doesn’t have stimulating and interesting courses, consultation between friends and homeschooling is isolation.

I think homeschooling is a good idea. Tranditional education is to learn everything whether you likes the subject or not. If we do homeschooling,we can adjust the curriculum everyday and choose avid curriculum by ourself. I also think homeschooling is a better way to achieve your ambition. Because we can only choose expertise curriculum,we can make our dream come true more faster. For example,Andy try to fulfill his dream by homeschooling. As a result,I think homeschooling is a good idea.

I think homeschooling is a very antinomy thing. Some people who don’t think homeschooling is a good idea may have some misconception on it, but what they think isn’t all having nothing to thinking about it. However homeschooling provide us to have the other option of unschool maybe in the future it can adjust to an eclectic and viable way to do it.

Homeschooling is more effective and helpful for those children who have difficult in learning alone. But the teacher at home must be patient . I had learned a lot in homeschooling . My mom used to teach some knowledges when I was a elementary student. As a result, I think homeschooling is a good way to learn.But the learner and the teacher must never give up when they decide to learn in home.
ReplyDeleteI think is not a good idea to me, because I can’t hold myself not to lie down on the job. So I won’t do homeschooling. But I very agree those who is ambitious in there future do the homeschooling. Because they will adjust their time more efficiently. And they can persistence in their study. In my point of view, homeschooling is not viable to me. The traditional eduction is my best option. Because I need someone dictate me to study.

Homeschooling is a good way for someone who is better than others or someone who is not. I am an normal person and suitable for usual curriculum . I believe that homeschooling is a great project to someone and someone`s family. They must decide right goal and confirm viable ambition and adjust slightly it momentarily. So it is a good plan I think for someone who want homeschooling.

ReplyDeleteI think that homeschooling is a good idea because it can help students study the subject they are interest in. And I also think it is a viable alternative to traditional school. Maybe I should say that some subjects in school aren’t stimulating for some students. Most important, if they don't avid to learn, I think effect is also not good. Instead, students of homeschooling, they have ambitions or they think that is they dictated, they will study hard out of their heart and they don't give up.

But we can hear some misconceptions of homeschooling, like it may lead to social isolation or easily to provide dispute with others or students of homeschooling can't learn harder knowledge because they don't have the expertise. I think that the following are wrong ideas people easy to think over. One of my friends, he is a successful person and he also have many good friends. In fact, he is a student of homeschooling due to his healthy is in poor condition. So I think that homeschooling is better than school education. However, school education has some good points of course.

Studying at home allows you to choose subjects and cousres you want,even the time is alternative.People get more space for their creation and idea.The best is,you dont have to obey so many rules.
On the other hand,if people stay in home for a long time instead of going out or meet the society,they may become shy and not willing to talk to strangers.Its obviously not good after going out for a job.They may not know how to encouter obstacles by themselves,like fight between classmates.
In sum,i donr think its a good idea to study in home if there is no any special situation.

Although homeschooling has been steadily increasing in popularity,I think it is not s good idea.School is just like a small sociality.We can a lot of things besides academy from teachers and friends such as,expertises.We also can make friends,especially peers in school.It is very important to make peer friends when we are teenagers because people at closer age have similar thoughts and actions.Homeschoolers maybe have little chances to make friends at closer age so that they may have gap in more aspects.

Every students are one of homeschoolers,because students just spend eight to ten hours in the school and most of their time they spent is after school.They may play basketball,table tennis,badminton,baseball...with their friends;they may watch cartoons or play online games at home;they may study in the cram school...and so on.They do many kinds of activities after school but some activities are dictated for someone by parents,teachers or friends.Therefore,the learning ways of homeschooling is very important for everyone.

For example,if someone likes ecology,he/she can climb mountains,snorkel,watch National Geographic cannel or Discovery.Furthermore,homeschoolers can cultivate how to make a good use of their time so they should arrange what they wiil do today,this week,this month,and this year,and then actually finish it.These are the reasons that I agree with the idea of homeschooling.

in my opinion, i think, every student who came to school are also learning from interested books. that's why all of school set up library to support their learning materials.and sometimes school also set up some study tour to go to beach, lake, or even forest, where the students can understand their subject (for example ecosystem in biology) deeper. and from those activities, it'll be more fun because student hang out with their friends, not by him/herself with their parents. sometimes you have to be separated with your families so you can grow up,and you can really understand how socialization is.

ReplyDeleteHomeschooling is a big business for the parents, and they have to adjust their style in living in order to do to it. Although some examples said that the children who do homeschooling are better then the children in traditional way in the effect of learning, I think the experience in cooperating with people is more important then the effect of learning. The success in school work can’t express anything, and the children always avid to make the friends who have something in common and get along with them in the most part of time.
I think the problem of homeschooling will always to be disputed, and it is not the misconception, it is an alternative way to try. But I think if l have the kids, I would let them to go to school because of my persistence.

ReplyDeletei don't think homeschooling is a good idea for taiwanese . there is few consultation for us to follow. it must be very difficult to be homeschooling . unschool education may be an another option for a child,but it is not good to put something not very complete into action. the child homeschooling may face the social islation problem ,or questioned his Professional competence. homeschooling is a very new concept , but it also has many places which need to be experimented. when the kids grow up , they also need to face the problem of employment,but they compare with the kids who follow the traditional education way ,homescooling kids have little experience getting along with others.school is just like a small comunity .

I thinhk homeschooling is a good idea.. Combining official education at school with homeschooling is the best choice. Adjusting the study plan, the study at school and home schooling are necessarily alternative. There are many good teachers at school, they will teach us with a official study program, there are many friends who can help each other to learn well. At home, we no need to waste much time to go to school and just stay at home and use your own equipments to study.

Homeschooling is a morden and fasion idea that increasingly becomes a viable education option, For instance, in order to adjust student’s studying situation, parents and teachers have no alternative but to carry out unschool reforms in education. However, traditional misconception is dispute this idea because thay are disappointed in students that they must be dictated to learning. They think students couldn’t learn in isolation. For one thing, students don’t have enough persistence in home: for another, in home, there has too many stimulating thing to focus on learning. But expertise that This kind of idea is not only appropriate for avid students for knowledge but also suitable for someone who have ambition. From my perspective, I am for homeschooling.

For Taiwan, It’s not a good idea to homeschooling. Taiwanese students are lazy. They are almost used to being forced by teachers. On the other hand, Taiwanese parents almost don’t care about what their children are doing. They pamper their children. They pamper their children more, and their children get bad more. For example, when I was 11 grades, I have a very bad friend in my class. His father never discipline and gave him money every day. His money was put in their cabinet by his father. No matter how many money he took, his father wasn’t mad at him anytime. So, he took the money to do lots of bad things. At that time he learned in school. If he homeschooled today, he would get worse and worse.

People is a kind of animals living in groups ,so in this opinion , I think homeschooling isn't a good idea .

ReplyDeleteI think homeschooling is not a good idea. First of all, you may think that homeschooling is a chance to learn more things that the school won't teach you. But actually, the things you learn in school will strongly influence the subjects when you are in high school or even college. Also having expertise teachers is a great advantage. Second, homeschooling will restrict your ability to make friends.Therefore I think traditional schooling is a better idea.

I don't think we can really define homeschooling as a good idea or not. For some people, the academic education is not suitable for them. They want to learn some more specific expertise but the formal education can satisfy them. However, other people think following the rules or ways that school teacher give them can make them learned more. So, in my opinion, I don't want to conclude any clear answer.

Homeschooling is not a traditional way to learn expertises. In fact, children have more options in unschool than traditional school. Many people have some misconception. They think it is isolated and has no interaction with other people. On the contrsry, children who are homeschooling have ambition to know the world. They learn things with active attitude. That is reason why I support that “Homeschooling is a good idea.”.

I think this issue does not have an absolute answer, but I think I agree that. In the beginning, I don’t think that homeschooling is a good idea. Until the teacher palyed some video, I change my mind. I think that homeschooling is a good idea if the parents have persistence to do this well. If it is not, than that is not good for children. So I think that the homeschooling is a good way or not is look on the parents.

Of course it is a good idea! Homeschooling can let student get more resourse which is from their surroundings rather than textbooks. And we can always keep a relaxed mood to study.No longer having a seat in the classroom for boring course. Some people may doubt that what knowledge we learn at home can be use in the future,but don't gorget the homeschooling is didn't a traditional schooling. We can use the Internet or other information to full of substance on our own way. It just up to your alternative!

Everyone has the right to choose their learning style. Homeschooling is one of them. I agree with homeschooling while I might not choose to be homeschooled. The purpose of choosing learning style is to raise our learning efficiency. So whether homeschooling is good or not depends on learner's learning style and attitude.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that homeschooling is a good idea. Traditional education is still has something that homeschooling can not provide. Such as expertise and social skill. Especially the friendship with classmates, I think that it is the most important thing we should learn in our school live.
