Before you write a summary of reading,you can use Wh-question to ask yourself;you have to read the text and understanding what the text mean;next,find the main idea which author gives;most importantly,you have write a summary using your own words instead of original sentence.As for paraphrasing,you also have to read and understand the text,and then try to revise the text in your own words.Meanwhile,the main idea of paraphrased text isn't allowed against the original one.
ReplyDeleteAsking yourself the Wh-questions can not only help you to understand the passage but also help you to plan your summary. And there are many important points to write a summary. For example, read and reread the text, highlight or underline the thesis, return later and check it again, and so on. Among them, I think the most important one is restate the author's ideas in your own words, called paraphrasing.

The wh-questions are important to help you to make a great understand of the article.And also help you easy to plan the summary.You can write some wh-questions and find the answers in the article after you read it,then make a summary after you reread it.I trust that you must be very understand what is thw text talking about!

ReplyDeleteI think that not only wh-qusetions but also the summary are very important. The wh-qusetions and the summary can help you read an article deeper. Rewriting is important because if you don't rewrite the article well , you will act in violation of laws. In the future, we most keep learning restate the article in our own words. It is helpful for doing dissertations.

The wh-question not only help you understanding the summury oy the article ,but help you increase the actbility of using your own way to explain the article. It’s important to our future convasation to the foreigner and read all of English report.

If we want to write a summary, we have to read text first and better to use Wh-questions to help ourselves to realize the article. We can find the main idea, the supporting details, and some important information. And we can paraphrase the article by using our sentences. Then put article which our paraphrase aside for a while. Finally, reread the passage, make sure that our meaning can express original reading, but not close to it. It have to state in our words.

Although wh-questions mabye just be simple elements in articles,how to write them is an very important thing and it will infect our ideas expression. In the five W and one H questions,I think the why and how questions are the most important elements.When we write an article,we should let readers know the article is written for what happened further why and how did it happened rather than juht what you think about the incident.If the readers didn't understand what you are talking about, then you will not make your article be a good use.Furthermore,you just a bad writer!

Paraphrasing is restate the author’s ideas in your own words while keeping true to the author’s ideas.We can use it to enritch our essay.When paraphrasing or quoting, use a variety of reporting verbs to introduce an author’s ideas.Such as says tells concludes......

paraphrasing can make us understand the main idea of the article . although the two statement have different way to describe , they are talking the same thing . the wh-question can be a test to know how much you know about the article . the wh-question may be simple , but it can turely help get into the situation quickly.

In nuit 4, it taught that Wh-questions is a good way for us to write a summary. First, you should read content and understand main idea. Then, you can ask yourself Wh-questions before you summrize it in your own words.

ReplyDeleteAccording to W4'report,we can clearly know that the writing skills include four parts:wh-questions,summary,papaphrasing,quotations.The wh-questions are who,what,where,when,why,how.They can help you to plan your summary.A summary is a sentence which focus on the thesis or main idea.Writing the author's idea in your own words is called paraphrasing.Quotations must be identical to the original and use a narrow sagement.

Reading and rereading the article and marking the main idea,key words and phrases in the article are the important and basic steps to write a summary.Before writing,using Wh-questions will help you to check how many informations you get in the article.When writing,you can reorder the idea in your own view and use your own words to state the summary.Most important of all,you should restore the author's ideas,but you can't just rewrite in author's words.

Using 5Wh(Who,What,When,Where,Why) + 1H(How)to help you find details .After digesting all the information you have,you have to orginize them to your own words.Be sure to check if it consists with your essay at last!

Write a summary of articles, we can use many skills to help us to do it better. Before we write, we can use wh-question to help reading. When we read the article, we can find the main idea and rewrite it. Checking our main idea and reading the article again. We use our words to write the summary.

I think that not only wh-qusetions but also the summary are very important.Before we write, we can use wh-question to help reading.Then we can use wh-question to writing a summary and be sure to use our own words.
